Juana Molina

A film is—or should be—more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later. — Stanley Kubrick

Peering at that video -- with my hands clapped over my eyes and looking furtively between my fingers, I should add -- it reminds me of the sort of artwork that graced the pages of the late-lamented OMNI magazine, a publication spanning the late Seventies to the late Eighties which covered both science fact and science fiction in equal measure.
Seriously, check out some of these covers and tell me there isn't some sort of surreal nightmarish connection between them and Juana Molina's video.

And the song's not bad, either. Kinda catchy.

I agree with you, good sir. I was an avid reader in the early 80s, but terminated my subscription around 84 when their SF stories weakened and then soured. I stopped reading it altogether by 89 (seemed to have become trashy).

But this video is just too creepy good.
